VETNexx didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a shared frustration โ and a bet that we could fix it.
The Nomad Summit is a global gathering of location-independent entrepreneurs, founders, and remote professionals. Being selected as scholarship winners not only recognised our shared commitment to building impactful, location-flexible businesses, but also created the environment where we met in Chiang Mai and first developed the idea that became VETNexx.
One of us had spent years in veterinary practice, watching exceptional clinics struggle with something that had nothing to do with their skills: the phone. Busy clinics with brilliant vets were losing clients โ not because of bad medicine, but because calls went unanswered.
The other had spent a decade building automation and AI systems for businesses โ solving exactly this kind of operational inefficiency.
The conversation lasted four hours. VETNexx was born that afternoon.
Over 3 decades inside vet clinics across NZ, AU and UK โ not as a consultant, but as a practitioner. Knows exactly what the front desk looks like at 8am on a Monday when three phones are ringing simultaneously.
Leads all clinical protocol development. Every urgency pathway in VETNexx reflects real-world triage experience.
Designs and builds AI systems across healthcare, logistics, and SaaS โ focused on making complex workflows invisible, reliable, and safe in real-world environments.
Architects VETNexx's call intelligence, PMS integrations, and the escalation engine that keeps clinics in control.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to. Every feature, every escalation rule, every integration is reviewed through the lens of clinical safety first โ and business value second.
We're not building a generic AI product with a vet logo on it. We're building the system that should have existed in every vet clinic years ago.
